Thermo Systems designs, builds, commissions and validates mission critical automation solutions in the life sciences and utilities industries. From our Engineering Center in East Windsor, NJ USA, Thermo Systems deploys automation projects throughout North America and the Middle East.
We are seeking a Software Development / IT Engineer to design and deploy SCADA systems applications. This software developer will be trained and gain expertise in deploying Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) packages such as Wonderware IAS, GE iFix, and Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk. Projects are deployed in a team environment and you will work closely with the lead project engineer and other members of the Thermo team.
Qualified Candidates shall exhibit the following MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related degree
- Expertise in multiple Windows operating systems
- Expertise in selecting and configuring network hardware
- Experience in VB scripting
- Strong Windows networking skills
- Strong graphical or HTML development skills
- The ability to work independently, as well as, on a project team
- The ability to excel in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
In addition to design and development work performed at our East Windsor, NJ engineering office, our control systems integration engineers visit our customer sites throughout North America. Overnight travel is approximately 24%.
