Thermo Systems Principals Present Paper at the IDEA Annual Conference
In June Thermo Systems Principals David Musto and Gregory
Smith presented their paper on district energy fiber optic networks at the International
District Energy Association’s (IDEA) 98th annual conference. The paper,
titled “Designing Secure, Redundant Fiber Optic Networks for District Energy
Systems”, utilized the Lulu Island network design in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain
as a case study. Thermo Systems designed the Lulu Island Energy Transfer Station
(ETS) network under subcontract to Tabreed Bahrain, a local district energy provider
