Thermo Systems Acquires Voltec, Inc. of Duquesne, PA
On September 8, 2005 Thermo Systems acquired Voltec Inc. of Duquesne,
Pennsylvania and merged select operations of the two companies' as well as their
client bases. This merger ensures that the existing Voltec client base will receive
the highest quality control systems services. Thermo Systems will continue to service
and support the V-Pak and V-Pak Plus DDC controllers. In addition, Thermo Systems
will be able to offer existing Voltec clients seamless migration to the latest non-proprietary
PLC solutions for critical HVAC and process applications.
With the incorporation of Voltec staff members into the Thermo team, Thermo Systems
has expanded its operations to include a sales and service office in the Pittsburgh
area. A newly established dedicated service staff ensures that Thermo Systems' clients
will continue to receive rapid response to emergencies and the highest quality attention
and service. As always, Thermo Systems continues with its commitment to the design,
manufacture, implementation, and commissioning of quality turnkey solutions for
industrial automation.
