National Internship Program

Developing Future Leaders in Automation

Thermo Systems’ National Internship Program provides real-world, thought-provoking internships to undergraduate students from top universities from coast to coast. We offer our interns the opportunity to utilize their college education and develop the necessary technical and professional skills crucial for a successful career journey after graduation.

Our internship program offers students a chance to get real-world experience, have the opportunity to contribute to various projects, and develop a network of contacts for their future. Our interns are always encouraged to take the initiative and work on projects that meet their interests.
Being a co-op at Thermo has been such a great learning experience. I've had hands-on opportunities at customer sites, and I've been able to assist the team with various projects and support calls. I'm very grateful to be able to experience different aspects of Thermo's IT needs.

Kimberly Cheng | Co-Op ‘21

Would you be a good fit? What differentiates Thermo is our culture. We value a culture of teamwork, of exceeding customer expectations, and of success - both personal and professional. During your time with Thermo, you can expect to go the extra mile for your customers, be a good teammate for those around you, and be efficient in your work. Most of all, you'll have some fun along the way.

The Thermo culture starts with you.

Program Details

Thermo Systems Interns are part of our most valuable asset: our employees. During your internship you will gain real-life experiences in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.

• Learn what the automation industry is all about
• Be part of an exciting and growing team
• Deliver solutions and services to clients such as Facebook, NASA, Merck, Sam Adams, and universities coast to coast
• Experience various aspects of work Thermo provides in engineering, development, and testing
• Enhance your professional and technical skillsets

One of the best aspects of Thermo is your autonomy. Even at the lowest level, if a person proves that they can learn and work hard, they can work on just about any project and are given a good deal of responsibilities. The engineers I was able to work with were very knowledgeable in their field and happy to teach others.

Bryce Uehling | Sales Engineer (Intern ‘20)

From the very first week, I could tell that Thermo valued communication, collaboration, and initiative. I learned not only about control systems and the technical aspects, but also how to be a better professional and developing the soft skills needed for success in a team environment.

Kush Patel | Control Systems Engineer (Co-Op ‘19/’20)
